Arguably East Germany's BIGGEST and most successful club, Dynamo Dresden boasts 8 league titles and 7 domestic cups - the East German versions of the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal. Despite dominance from BFC Dynamo in Berlin, the DDR-Oberliga was a league Dresden enjoyed years of success in. BUT... obviously when the Berlin Wall came down and the reunification of East and West Germany happened, the merging of these 2 football worlds didn't really go to plan... for the East Germans anyway 😬🇩🇪 Over the years, clubs from the East such as Dynamo Dresden and struggled in the modern league system. Increased competition on the pitch, paired with competition financially has left these once thriving and successful football clubs, stranded in the 3rd tier of German Football ⚽️ Has the German league system failed them or was this just inevitable after reunification⁉️ We WILL be back for at least one game at the Rudolf Harbig Stadion this season, hopefully vs their arch rivals Aue in February! 🔥 PART 1 HERE 👉🏽 • German Football Started HERE *by the ... #dynamodresden #football #stadiumtour
