Rivercrosser is a solid and super light packraft with a net weight of only 1700 grams, which makes it perfect for trips where there is a lot of carrying on land. Rivercrosser is suitable for one person with luggage. This model is versatile and practical, and gives you the opportunity to cross lakes and water, follow rivers, or simply set out to test your fishing luck. The packraft has top build quality, and no weight has been saved by using simple solutions and shortcuts. The seams are both sewn and welded, and Rivercrosser must therefore not be confused with other, similar models where the various materials are only attached together using a high-frequency machine. For this reason, Rivercrosser can withstand much higher pressure, and will have a longer lifespan than many other models on the market today. The Rivercrosser also has a raised floor, allowing you to sit comfortably on shorter trips without having to install the included seat. This places high demands on the materials used. All Kipara packrafts are made from carefully selected top quality materials. All packrafts are handmade with urethane-coated nylon, a material that is UV-tolerant, durable, resistant to aging and flexible at low temperatures. The floor , or bottom, of the packraft is the part that takes the most impact when getting in and out and when scraping against rocks and shallows. All of our models have floors made of strong 0.57 mm 840D nylon, double coated with urethane. The exception to this is the ultralight Atom 205 SL which has a floor made of 210D nylon 66. The seat and back are made of 210D nylon, single coated. The same goes for the splash covers. The difference between the top models and the budget models lies in the tube material. All of our packrafts are light and sturdy, but the materials affect the weight and exactly how strong the tubes are. The tubes in the top model Char are made of nylon 66, a super light and super strong material. Jàvri is made with an upgraded standard TPU nylon material that only Kipara carries.
