Ashesi's 2022 Commencement Ceremony: Recording

Originally scheduled to happen at 9.00 AM, the University has had to adjust Commencement programming due to severe weather on June 3rd. The same is expected for the morning of June 4th. We have concluded that this will be too disruptive for our ceremony to proceed as initially planned. Here is a summary of how June 4th's proceedings have been modified. a. The time for our commencement ceremony is being moved forward to 1.00 PM on Saturday, June 4th, when we expect thunderstorms to have cleared. b. We are moving the commencement ceremony into the Archer Cornfield courtyard, with livestream video into multiple indoor spaces on campus to be designated for excess capacity. c. Seating priority in the courtyard will be given to the graduating class, faculty and staff, and other members of the community key to the commencement ceremony's proceedings. We will be sending additional updates as needed ahead of the ceremony. Despite the adjustments we are making, we look forward to seeing all the thoughtful commencement preparation done across our community culminate in a beautiful ceremony.
