I've been working on a lot of little things since my last update. I've got some less temp attack indicators, both on the player and on the enemies. (Eventually if the enemy is in camera, I'm going to not show on the player, but this is a good start.) I also spent some time getting more familiar with the animation tools in unreal, and made a quick pool of blocks. The blocks are using a similar system to the attacks, where it chooses the transition based on direction and which foot is forward. (I threw myself a curveball for fun where the Back Block doesn't turn the character around....That stumped me for a bit with math, but I eventaully got there) The block hit doesn't (Yet) know which to play based on which foot is forward so I still have some work there. THe block hit also sometimes turns the character, which I haven't noticed till I started doing the transitions. Maybe there's some fighting going on there. More bugs to troubleshoot. I think the timing can be a bit slow on the block transitions, so I'm going to play a bit with those. Also, sometimes the block get stuck. (I think when I hit an enemy before they get their attack off. Lastly, I need to do some work on the Combat Queue. Some NPCs get stuck not attacking. If there's just one enemy, they attack once, then don't attack again until I hit them. Bugs bugs bugs..... Questions and Comments? - Come Chat! - Discord: / discord
