French MTB Road Trip - Alpe D’Huez Empty Trails & Police Warning ⚠️ | Episode 3

We spent another day in Alpe D'Huez and rode some epic trails, however we were told to move on by the Gendarmerie. The trails we did find were ghostly, epic but no one on them. This made for a great days riding but I think the resort in general is a little under-rated. The camp spot we were set up in was one whereby we knew we shouldn’t park there, but like all van life adventurists you take these risks and sometimes it pays off. We were lucky enough to spend a few nights there, but when told to leave, we had to find a new spot. I suggested heading down to the valley bottom. While a lot warmer, we could pitch next to the river which was really cool. The only issue being we needed to head back up to the top to ride the following morning. Good job we filled up with fuel, we were running on fumes, but we ended the day with a good old BBQ!
