The anger is coursing through me, paired with pain and sadness and deep grief - we're tapping into more of that tomorrow. But today is about anger. Anger is sacred, but many of us feeling like anger is wrong, bad, and should be avoided or suppressed. Anger is an emotion JUST like happiness and joy, we are going to feel it. Wishing it away just harbors resentment for our own emotions, and therefore, ourselves. When we can feel into and accept our anger, we can channel it into action - we can use it as fuel for change and growth. This meditation is intended to release anger, but it doesn't mean you need to get rid of it. This is also an invitation to sit with it, be with it, fully feel it. Let yourself get mad, pissed off, and be not okay. You are safe to feel and express yourself here. I love you. This was a raw and authentic practice, like everything I film here. But this one caught even me a little off guard. I teach a combo of the traditional ancient practice of kundalini yoga and my version, Embodied Kundalini, which incorporates other somatic practices to support you even more deeply and evoke the strong feminine energy in the body. This is absolutely what I am teaching you today - these breaks and noises and screams are not written into this meditation, but holy crap they feel good. If you have never done anything like this, it might feel a little strange of awkward - do your best to remove judgment and be with and move with what you are feeling in the moment.
