Lexus LS 600h L Walkaround Experience The *2013 Lexus LS 600h L* is a flagship long-wheelbase luxury hybrid sedan that combines a powerful gasoline V8 with an advanced hybrid system to deliver strong performance with refined efficiency. It uses a 5.0-liter V8 engine paired with a high-output electric motor to generate a combined system output of 438 horsepower. The gasoline engine alone produces about 389 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque, while the electric motor contributes additional power for smoother acceleration and improved efficiency. Power is delivered through an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT) and a standard all-wheel-drive system, allowing the large luxury sedan to accelerate from 0–60 mph in around 5.5 seconds while maintaining a top speed electronically limited to about 130 mph. The hybrid system is supported by a 288-volt Nickel-Metal Hydride battery pack designed to balance performance and fuel economy. The sedan measures approximately 205 inches in length, has a 121.7-inch wheelbase, and weighs just over 5,150 pounds, depending on configuration. Inside, the cabin features high-end materials and advanced technology, including a 12.3-inch high-resolution split-screen multimedia display and a premium 19-speaker Mark Levinson audio system.
