Acoustical Principles of a David Antony Reid VaultBack Acoustic Guitar.

Here is a fairly comprehensive video of me explaining the acoustical principles of my VaultBack guitars. Two very important things I forgot to mention were, firstly, that the reverberation time of these instruments can be increased to a quarter that of a standard flat-back acoustic guitar - depending on absorption coefficients -, and secondly, that the dampening of the back has a far greater detrimental effect on the sound than a standard flat-back guitar, mainly due to the absence of bracing, allowing the back to move up to twice as much as a flat-back guitar; yet it is incredibly strong, like an egg, or an arch. I also made a couple of mistakes by saying refraction when I meant to say diffraction - oops!
