❝No, they can't haunt us both...❞ [HD + earphones] Thanks to the neverending upload time, I'm not sure whether this is going to be the very last video of 2020 or the very first of 2021 -- but nevertheless, of all the projects I started ages ago lying dusty in my to-complete folder, I was pretty adamant that if I was to strike back against the latest bout of vidder's block, this would have to be the project to do it with. These two are perhaps the two purest souls in the entire shipping world; if you have them as your otp, I believe you will never find a sweeter relationship elsewhere. So it is only fitting that they're basically the representative, #1 favourite ship of one of the sweetest people on this website, one whom I have the privilege to call my friend. To Kim, I will only say this: I know that Morwenna would 100% be your character alter-ego if you could choose one, but I hope you realize how similar to Drake you are, too (and I mean this in the best way possible, since apparently a section of the Fandom That Shan't Be Named decided to hold a grudge against this cinnamon roll of a man for some unexplicable reason back when the show was airing). You are the most steadfast, gentle soul and I cannot even begin to articulate all the ways that becoming closer during this past year has been healing and comforting for me even in dark, self-loathing times. This was originally planned as a birthday present (imagine the utter slowness 🤦) and lacks so many scenes and could never rival your many perfect tributes to this gem of a show and couple, but I tried to portray what I think is the core of their relationship, the understanding and the healing and the neverending, ever-patient support; and I don't know if I have succeeded, but it has been therapeutic and I hope it shows, even a little. To you, and to anyone patient enough to read my descriptions through, may you have the happiest New Year possible, full of healing and new beginnings.
