Interview with 2019 Boys Overall Finishers Kelly Chinn, Bryan Kim

Congratulations to our 2019 MAPGA Junior Champion Kelly Chinn. Chinn was able to keep a calm and cool composure during the final round of the MAPGA Junior Championship at Mount Vernon Country Club. Chinn opened his first round with a bogey-free 2-under-par and was three strokes off the lead at the start of his final round. During his final round, he went on to card six birdies against three bogies to go into a three-way playoff for the championship title. He proceeded to drop a 10-foot birdie putt to win over fellow competitors Bryan Kim (2nd) and William Creery (3rd). Chinn also earned one of four spots to gain entrance into the Junior PGA Championship at Keney Park Golf Course in Connecticut. Congratulation Kelly on a well-deserved victory! We would also like to thank Bryan Armstrong and the rest of the MVCC staff for being such accommodating hosts over the course of the two-day event.
