Find out more information: http://st.com/st4sim-300 Transcript A lot of our customers in the IoT world rely on cellular connectivity to enable their businesses. Whether it be for asset tracking or longevity reasons, the possibility to have a remote provisioning solution gives much needed flexibility. Here, at Embedded World, we are showcasing a demo of our latest eSIM product the ST4SIM-300. You can witness its capabilities to download a new network profile and swiftly enable it after having received the secure command from its associated eSIM IoT remote manager. For additional convenience, it can come already pre-configured with an eIM by ST. Cellular connectivity enables a wide range of use cases where you need to switch between telecom operators over the air. As I mentioned earlier, asset tracking is easier than ever thanks to the possibility to switch to the most convenient profile for each country where the device is located Another example is smart meters, where you could be tracking and sending consumption statistics over the air, and systems can have a lifespan of 15 years or more. Thanks to our eSIM, it is possible to remotely manage the connectivity of the device during this period, allowing for enhanced flexibility. Our product is aligned to the latest GSMA eSIM for IoT Specification, the SGP.32. On the security side of things, ST4SIM-300 can double as an embedded secure element for functions including GSMA IoT Safe applet. It can interact directly with the host microcontroller using SPI or I2C. ST4SIM300 is compatible with 5g and low-power networks. It is available in a range of packaging-options including a removable, hardened plastic package, the traditional plug-in form factor, MFF2 and WLCSP, the most compact package. We are very happy to bring this scalable, secure solution that is compatible with IoT and industrial-grade applications to the market. And we are convinced that it is the perfect fit for your low power, network constrained IoT application! If you want to know more, please contact your local ST representative.
