From the thousands of designers and manufacturers who participated this year, the winners of GOOD DESIGN® for 2022 have proved that they have created excellent products worthy of winning an award. GOOD DESIGN recognizes products that won over the jury not only through their aesthetic, but also thanks to their incomparable functionality. With their designs, the award winners are setting the highest standards in their industry. The winning designers and manufacturers have all taken on one of the biggest challenges in the global design world: to produce a meaningful, superb, and timeless product design that withstands function, lasting use, and inspiring and profound relevance. For this 72nd edition of GOOD DESIGN, award winners have been honored and celebrated at the Good Design Show 2023 which opened at The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies in Athens, Greece on March 31, 2023. A glamorous awards ceremony and Gala was held at the foot of the Acropolis that same night in the National Museum of Contemporary Art Athens. The over 1,100 awarded products, graphics, and environments for this year’s Good Design are also published in the 2022-2023 Yearbook by Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd. and is available at metropolitanartspress.com.
