Not me. No sir. Answering easy questions is fun. Makes me feel smart. That’s why I’ve dedicated nearly 19 minutes to the simple question of SLRs vs rangefinder cameras. Actually that’s not technically a question but more like a topic. You get what I mean, though. I started out on a single lens reflex camera. I didn’t get my first rangefinder until many years into my photography experience. Took even longer to get my first twin lens reflex. Did ya boy adapt easily to these two types of cameras? Nah. Of course not. I got brain problems. I got so frustrated with my first rangefinder that I sold it after only a brief time using it. Not before I tried to fix some haziness inside the lens, though. That didn’t go well. I never fixed the haze. I just snapped the film advance lever and put a big ugly gouge into the plastic around the lens. Lesson learned. Don’t try to fix lenses. Also don’t trust eBay when they say the lens is clear of haze. Okay now I’m rambling. Enjoy the video!
