European Railways in the 1990s Longwy Station (France SNCF) on 29th May 1999

EUROPEAN RAILWAYS of the 1990s Longwy Station (France SNCF) on 29th May 1999 Gare Longwy On the route from Luxembourg to Longuyon in France, lies the town of Longwy, with a large station and large railway yard just to the South of the station. A chance visit on my way back to Arlon, I was lucky to capture a railtour, with an SNCB/NMBS Electric Class BB1800 (1805)* Locomotive in charge. The train arrived and the Locomotive ran round and departed. Other SNCF traction seen were the Serie 11500 EMU (2 Car Units) in bright yellow livery and also BB12000 plus an appearance of an SNCF BB16500. A CFL 2000 class arrived with a local train too. This is quite a short video, but contains some historical traction. I do hope this video entertains and evokes old fond memories of the European Railway Scene of the era.
