Wizards Tarot (Corrine Kenner) vs Wizards Tarot (Barbara Moore)

A comparison video between the Wizards Tarot (Corrine Kenner, art by John J. Blumen) and Wizards Tarot (Barbara Moore, art by Mieke Janssens). The Kenner deck is the currently in print Spanish Edition. To me, Kenner’s deck is the clear winner here. I prefer the art and the symbolism, and most of all I prefer the people/characters in it. The difference between the two in this regard can clearly be seen in the courts (and many other cards as well). Kenner’s deck has people with personality. Moore’s deck is peopled by what look to be fashion models in silly outfits (those hats! Why?!). While Moore’s deck does have some interesting interpretations of the cards, the fashion model characters distract from it. Kenner’s deck also has some diversity in it. Moore’s deck looks all-white, which is quite disappointing for a deck released in 2020. As far as guidebooks go, I definitely prefer Kenner’s as well (the complete English guidebook for this deck is available with the Wizards Tarot app).
