Due to popular demand and loads of request from subscribers for more videos on targeting predators on live baits it seemed time to head to one of my favourite venues - the Kennet and Avon Canal and produce this video on targeting perch. Everything was looking good, as previous sessions had produced nets over 30lb which included lots of two-pound plus fish but as soon as the camera came out of the bag conditions changed. Faced with a cloudless sky, ground frost and easterly wind, things weren't looking good, but if you get your location right and cast out a rig/bait that they just can't resist, well the rod is aways going to bend over at some stage.
