How To Shade With A Round Shader

Whats your favorite needle to shade with? In this video I talk about the motions and approach that I take to apply shading when using a round shader tattoo needle. When it comes to shading I have to layer up my gradients versus depositing the final tone. Layering up my tones allows me to get smooth gradients and transitions in my shades which is fundamentally crucial for a clean read when it comes to shading. When we start out with tattooing there is no way to know how to apply a tattoo using correct technique.
