I set out into the snow with a saw, knife, ferro rod, titanium pot, and a .22 rifle to survive for a night. I didn't bring a tent, a sleeping bag, or any food or water with me. I made a natural shelter with trees and spruce boughs, made a fire, and kept it going through the night to stay warm. Two big takeaways on this trip - gather way more firewood than you think you need, and make your spruce bough bedding much thicker than I made mine!
