After reaching the base camp, we found our progress blocked by massive tentacles, forcing me to take a detour and defeat them in the surrounding areas to clear the path forward. Once we regrouped and finalized our plan for the final assault, we split into three teams and infiltrated the Abyssal Palace, only to stumble into a trap where we found the frozen remains of Abyssals and were confronted by a mind-controlled Kitt. We successfully managed to free her from the Abyssal parasite controlling her, allowing Ethan, Olympia, and me to push into the inner sanctum where we finally defeated Frey; there, I used the Abyssal Shard to grant a wish that transformed her into her own worst nightmare. However, the victory was short-lived as Abyss General Visil separated me from my allies and completed his ritual, merging himself, my father, and Ethan’s father to revive the Progenitor in the form of my sister, Aimee. As Aimee and I both made simultaneous wishes to the Shard, we were pulled into a void for a final clash of wills where I ultimately emerged victorious; though the Shard chose me, it was a tragic win, as Aimee returned to her true self just long enough to pass away before I was sent back to the world.
