If I’m being honest, Vancouver wasn’t at the top of my travel list. It sat behind places like San Francisco and some European cities. But after reluctantly visiting Denver and—surprise—actually loving it, Vancouver moved way up the list. Every city has its charm, right? We specifically chose it for the incredible food options in Vancouver. Instagram was flooded with food influencers in BC showing off the vibrant food scene, and the rave reviews for the top restaurants in Vancouver from friends sealed the deal. The flight was affordable, and it felt like the perfect foodie escape. After the trip? I missed it SO MUCH. The food in Vancouver? Unmatched. The fresh air in BC? Just as amazing. We spent 7 days exploring, staying in an AirBnB near Harbour Green Park. Was it worth paying extra to stay downtown? Honestly, probably not, lol. Next time, I’d stay in North Vancouver or Richmond’s food district—cheaper and just as fun. But hey, it was still super easy to drive around the city, even with the usual one-ways. This part of the trip was all about eating and shopping in Vancouver (priorities, right?). But the next part? Get ready for all the Vancouver nature adventures and MORE EATING—trust me, you don’t want to miss it. Anyway, of all the spots in this video, Empire Seafood Dim Sum was the absolute best. The dim sum in Vancouver just hits differently... or maybe it's just this spot (I think the chef is an award winning chef from China, so yeah).
