What do you know about the universe? Galaxy =100 million stars Super galaxy = 100 trillion stars. Universe= 100-200 billion galaxies. Upto 2trillion galaxies. As of March 2016, GN-z11 is the oldest and most distant galaxy observed. It has a comoving distance of 32 billion light-years from Earth, and is seen as it existed just 400 million years after the Big Bang. Speed of light: The speed of light in vacuum, commonly denoted c, is a universal physical constantthat is exactly equal to 299,792,458 metres per second (approximately 300,000 kilometres per second; 186,000 miles per second; 671 million miles per hour). Now what is a light year? Light years: light year(ly or lyr[3]), is a unit of length used to express astronomical distances and is equal to exactly 9460730472580.8 km, which is approximately 9.46 trillion km or 5.88 trillion mi. As defined by the International Astronomical Union (IAU), a light-year is the distance that light travels in vacuum in one Julian year (365.25 days). Now try to visualize the oldest galaxy being 32 billion light years away from Earth as mentioned above. And that is just one galaxy. It is estimated that there are roughly 200 billion galaxies (2×1011) in the observable universe. This is just the so far known universe. There may be still another universe which is not yet known. If one can understand and visualize this vast universe then maybe one can understand and imagine the Glory of Allah s.w.t. The creator and sustainer of it. Glory be to Allah s.w.t.
