LEGO Interstellar Starfighter was the coolest LEGO set of the ‘90s. We can talk about it, sure, but the point stands. If you’ve never heard of LEGO UFO, this subtheme of evergreen LEGO Space was on shelves in 1997 and 1998. LEGO Interstellar Starfighter (or LEGO 6979, if you're into numbers) was the most expensive LEGO UFO set ever made, while having only 292 pieces. But was this price justified? And is this oldie a goodie (spoiler alert: it is)? Or, in other words, is there anything more in the LEGO UFO Interstellar Starfighter than just nostalgia? Watch this LEGO Interstellar Starfighter review to find out! 🏷️ Set details: • Name: LEGO Interstellar Starfighter • Number: 6979 • Theme/line: LEGO UFO • Released: 1997 • Retired: 1998 • Piece count: 292 • Minifigures: 3 • RRP: $80.00 🎬 We aim to add a new video once per week but sometimes life gets in our way - so as often as possible. Not sponsored. The set presented in this video was bought by myself for myself and with my own money.
