9-4-2021 As part of a weekend in the Riverina region (New South Wales) for the inaugural meeting of the 'Stock Station Preservation Group', I took some time to visit some stations along the main south. These will be covered in coming videos, along with the trains encountered, however we will start at Harden station. Harden is still serviced daily by two XPT services, in each direction, between Sydney and Melbourne. While externally it looks quite good, it was an interesting comparison to Yass Junction which will be featured in a future video. We took a look all around the station, the yard, and a couple of the rollingstock items that were bludging around this once busy yard. There is also some brief cameo appearances by rail heritage guru Brian Leedham. Hope the video is of some mild enjoyment.
