In this video, I go over the full history of Call of Duty trickshotting — from 2011 all the way to 2025. I break down how FaZe Clan kicked it all off, how the community grew through the glory years, and what really caused trickshotting to die out. I also talk about how we can help bring it back and keep the scene alive today. I want to be clear — everything I explain about why trickshotting died is 100% true and accurate. That being said, some of the smaller details might be a little off. For example, I mention Red Reserve changing its name to Red Militia, and I talk about Scarce and Formula being the “owners” of Red Reserve. In reality, Scarce was appointed leader, not owner. These small mix-ups don’t change the bigger picture or the real reasons trickshotting fell off. This video is meant to show love to the community, reflect on what made trickshotting special, and remind everyone what we built together over the years. If you’ve been around since the MW2 days or you’re just learning about trickshotting now, I hope this gives you a clear picture of the history and the culture we all helped create. We can bring this back into the fullness we once had if we work together.
