Stupid bikers kept knocking the rear view mirror around in the parking lots and now the mirror has become very loose. Tightening the mirror only lets me see who is riding alongside me and not what is behind me. The older Activas had these lock nuts and I have tightened mirrors using them. however the newer ones seems to have a new mechanism. So if you are thinking about opposing lock nuts, then please spare the idea and try to think of something different. So the new ones have a long cylindrical nut that has an opposing thread compared to the mirror. Basically both the mirror and the cylinder just screw independent of each other and I don't know how to adjust the now skewed mirror. Any help or suggestion would be appreciated. I've tried a lot of online Activa manuals and they all talk about the lock nut and not about the new mechanism. Guys, so many question comming from your end about Honda Activa mirror which always hang after some time of purchase, this problem can also be found in TVS Jupiter but it is mainly found in Honda activa so today I am going to repair this mirror with the help of some tools & Fevikwik.
