This is the story of a Calling. A calling is not about eking out a living. It's not about a 9 to 5 job, building a house or owning a car. It's all about finding one's self by guiding others to find themselves. It is about filling warmth in the hearts of the children who live in remote icy terrains. Nestled among the Himalayan peaks, 7500 feet above sea level is Breswana. Prateek's Calling took him to this remote village , 2000 Kms away from his hometown in Southern India. He went, he saw and he stayed- a tryst of change within and without! The inaccessible Breswana village is about a four-and-a-half-hour mountain trek of boulder terrain from Premnanagr (Chenab Valley) and about 43 km from Doda, which is 160 km northeast of Jammu. People of the village, are engulfed by so many inadequacies. Prateek had volunteered for 7 months after putting his software professional career on hold in Pune. He being a avid traveler and adventurer took up this opportunity to experience a difference to himself, but in the process has impacted so many young children of the village and has passed a legacy of disciplined exploration, curiosity and humor.
