This S.T.A.L.K.E.R Inspired New Game Surprised Me! The Path Into The Abyss

This is my first impressions on the new The Path Into The Abyss demo (PC), which came out on Steam in December 2025. This is the first hour and a half or so of gameplay. Slightly edited, but I wanted to include most of my actual gameplay - mistakes and all included. I was pleasantly surprised by this, although I was not sure what to expect going in. The graphics looks good, the setting feels ominous, the movement and gameplay in general feels smooth - apart from the occasional hitches and similar, which I'm sure the dev(s) are working on for the full release. The ambience and overall sound design is also good, though I do wish the monsters would make more noises from further away.
