The song "Ive Cried A Mile" was written by Harlan Howard and Tom Pall Glaser as "(For Every Inch I've Laughed), I've Cried A Mile". Hank Snow recorded the song as "Ive Cried A Mile" in 1965 and his recording was reasonably successful. Harlan Howard was an American songwriter and author and co author of some of the biggest hits in music over the years. His wife Jan Howard would often record a demo of the song to play to the artists. Her Demo of the song "I Fall To Pieces" • Jan Howard ~ I Fall To Pieces (Demo) [Mono] which was played for Patsy Cline could have been a hit for Jan Howard had Patsy Cline declined the song. Tompall Glaser was one of the Glaser brothers who recorded a number of albums over the years as Tompall and The Glaser brothers. They also formed their own publishing company. Australian singer/songwriter Gordon Parsons recorded "I've Cried A Mile" for his 1969 released album "Rhythm Of The Range" on the EMI Columbia Label (SOEX 9653). This was the first 33rpm LP that Gordon Parsons released, having first recorded on 78 rpm records in Australia for the Regal Zonophone Label in 1946. The song is listed on the album as "I Cried A Mile".
