Gateway Classic Cars of Ft. Lauderdale is Excited to Present this Super Fun 1984 Jeep CJ7. From the beginning, the CJ line of Jeeps were built for the sole purposes of utility and capability. They are Go Anywhere vehicles and this 1984 Jeep CJ7 has taken that idea and ran with it! Every part of this Jeep has either been maintained or improved on to make it stand up to whatever you can throw at it. Jeep's simplicity, versatility, and performance led to a following bordering on fanaticism, and has produced many great Restomods such as the one before you here. The parts list reads more like a dream build and will satisfy even the most intense Jeep enthusiast. The entire body of this CJ has been Line-x coated to make it very durable to take on any off-road adventure but still has a great gloss to it to look sharp on the road. Keeping with the durable but functional theme of this Jeep are the GenRight rock sliders along with tubular doors that are removable. Up front you'll find a pair of Lightforce driving lights in combination with a pair of Piaa fog lights and an LED light bar that are all perched on top of a custom off road bumper that looks like it could go through a brick wall if needed. The Dana 30 front and Dana 20 rear axles are more than up to the task of spinning the 35x12.5 Toyo Open Country mud tires that are wrapped around a set of heavy duty 17-inch Hutchinson bead lock wheels. Hiding inside the axle housings both front and rear are air locking differentials. The 5-speed manual transmission is mounted to the tried and true 360 CID V8. This motor features throttle body injection, an aluminum Be Cool radiator with electric fan, shorty headers flowing into new dual exhaust, and HEI ignition. This stout V8 wedged in the lightweight body of a classic Jeep gives a serious advantage in the power-to-weight category and is more than enough to motivate this SUV down the road, or up a mountain. Keeping you in control no matter what the terrain is a set of Corbeau racing seats outfitted with 5-point harnesses. Just as many high-performance parts are hiding underneath the armor coated body of this jeep as the rest of it. Bilstein high travel shocks with extra reservoirs outfit all four corners. As well as all of the necessary hardware for the onboard powertank air system. And if somehow, you manage to roll this beauty over while abusing your favorite trail, there is a front roll bar with frame tie-ins at all six points.
