The Emberton is definitely purposefully turned way down in volume in order to show off the Tufton and Kilburn on display. My Emberton gets considerably louder. bottom line, skip the Kilburn, the Tufton sounds way better, but if you like the emberton for its size, there isn't a considerable difference except for deeper bass not physically possible in such a small form.
