I didn’t realise how much food can affect brain injury recovery until I got it so wrong and my speech and movement went back to how they were the day I got diagnosed 5 months ago. I didn't know that bad food choices could cause a setback in my brain injury recovery. From now in I’ll be more strict with my diet and choose more foods that are good for healing the brain and cutting out more that make my symptoms worse. 🧠💖 I'm recovering from a brain injury, post-concussion syndrome (also known as post-concussive syndrome) and finding my sparkle again after a sledging accident in 2018. I’m now on a mission to raise awareness of PCS so brain injury warriors don't feel alone on their recovery journeys. Please subscribe to my YouTube channel to follow my recovery journey. If updates are easier for you to read you’ll find them and other information you may find helpful on my website Finding My Sparkle https://findingmysparkle.co.uk You can also find me on Instagram at: / findingmysparkleaj 🙋♀️ 🙋 If you're in the UK, you can join the Post Concussion Syndrome Support Group on Facebook: / 1198935620174897 ✨Keep sparkling one day at a time!✨ ~~~~~~~~~~ AFFILIATE LINKS This YouTube channel uses affiliate links. What this means is that from time to time I may recommend that you buy products or services on other websites. When you buy products using my links I'll receive some money to say thanks for referring you. If I recommend a brand it’s because I like the brand and their products. Otherwise that’s dishonest and it's just not the way I roll. This doesn't affect you in any way in the checkout process and helps you support my channel. #NotJustAConcussion #PostConcussionSyndrome #BrainInjuryRecoveryStory
