"Rush Hour at River" - all the mid-day action on the Jim Thorpe wye | February 8, 2025

Reading & Northern's wye over the Lehigh River near Jim Thorpe, PA can be a busy place, especially on weekends that steam locomotive #2102 is leading an Iron Horse Ramble. In the span of about 2 hours and 10 minutes, four separate trains needed to traverse the wye, some passing through multiple times. This video showcases these carefully coordinated moves as I explain the action on February 8, 2025. I had intended to film the entire video at the wye. However, as I was driving in on 209 having broken off from chasing the OSJT, I heard on the scanner that the PIJT was already at Coal Junction. Since there was now no chance of catching it at the wye, I decided to head to the Jim Thorpe rail yard to catch it and the first LGSR departure of the day there instead of omitting them from the video.
