Pittsburgh Penguins forward Bryan Rust is dedicated to empowering children who stutter through his Seats for Strength initiative, in partnership with Friends. After every home game, Rust hosts postgame meet-and-greets with young people who stutter and their families from the Friends community. The inspiration is mutual, as Rust serves as both a role model and someone deeply impacted by the kids he meets. “It puts things into perspective for me,” he shares.
