Hey everyone! Here's another review! I know my channel has a lot of reviews instead of tricks but if you watch till the ending portion of the video, I do feature a few tricks that I perform (maybe not the hardest) and kinda just do what I do. Anyways, the review. So I bought this yoyo on AliExpress for $15+shipping, which came to $17~. It was marketed as "athletic yoyo ball". I thought the design looked interesting since there's this spire looking thing in the center of the cup and the body looks like a W profile. I don't have many W profiles, except for the TopYo Silenus. When I got the yoyo, I wondered..."Is this yoyo going to be good? I've never heard of this company and it doesn't seem to be sold in the US and most online stores ship from China." Well I was very surprised. So price point is very similar to the MYY Hertz. The weight is similar to the Hertz but the Aquarius has just a tiny bit of rim weight distribution. But boy is it a fun throw! It's definitely a bouncy yoyo with some slight power. The finish on the body is really smooth and it's pretty cool how the color changes once it's spinning. I bought all 3 colorways when a sale happened, but I think my favorite is the Blue/Silver/Gold colorway (one used in this video) because when it's spinning, it looks grey/gun metal. My only gripe about the yoyo is the string gap. Online it's marketed as 4.6mm string gap and it's definitely not that. At most it's 4.3mm. One might think that 0.3mm is no big thing right? It actually is HUGE in this case. Because the yoyo is pretty balanced in regards to the center to rim weight distribution, the responsiveness is a little grippy due to the string gap. I will alternate with using (crappy) thin string I bought from Amazon and it's still a bit grippy, even after many months of playing with it. If I were to sum it up, it's like a "LITE" version of the Silenus because...well...it's a bit less on everything. It's less weight, less width, less string gap, less price...although I think the diameter might be the same. If it was truly a 4.5mm string gap, this would be a monster of a yoyo in my opinion. In short, it's a great yoyo and really fun to throw without breaking the bank. I feel the weight distribution is 51R/49C. It's bouncy, responsive, but has a little bit of power during string hits.
