RULES Finish the game as fast as you can. TIMING The timer starts when you take control of your airplane. Timer ends on final hit of the T-Rex. SHORT REVIEW This is an excellent shooting game made by SNK in 1989. Game graphics are colorful and very good for the time. The soundtrack is catchy and spot on. Controls are responsive. Some enemies and sections are annoying, but not too much frustrating. The game concept is interesting, and overall it's a very fun experience, even if, in my opinion, the "Bermuda Triangle" trope has been abused too many times. Unfortunately, the game is quite short, and can be beaten in 20-25 minutes. I suggest you do a 2-player run, to double the fun. DINOSAURS TRIVIA Dinosaur fossils have been known for millennia, but of course their true nature was unknown. For example, the Chinese thought that they were dragon bones. Did dinosaurs screech like in the movie Jurassic Park? It's debated. Vocalizations depend on the species we take in consideration. Some research suggests that non-avian (=not bird-like) dinosaurs may have been mute, and communicated with other methods like flapping their wings or grinding their teeth. Some dinosaurs may have vocalized like crocodiles or alligators, others made sounds similar to birds. However, it's unlikely that the T-Rex made that iconic screech we hear in Jurassic Park. Don't blame Spielberg though, because that was the most accurate and up-to-date knowledge we had back in 1993. We know that dinosaurs of the "Theropoda" group evolved in what we call "birds". Now stop for a few minutes and reflect on the fact that the creepy-looking T-Rex in level 5 evolved into the Chicken Nuggets you eat every sunday. Overall score: 9/10.
