Thrand Reply's to common comments about his previous videos.Although a lot of this seemed like common since. Thrand explains it to some viewers who did not understand why he believes the 9th century Sword and shield style to have advantage over the Katana and naginata in single comabt. We don not believe the samurai would have even used the katana or the naginata but we are addressing this to show Deadliest warrior's mistake if he had in the out come. The Samurai would have used the Yumi(Bow) and Yari(spear) and possibly a much longer sword like the tachi or nodachi. The Samurai's art Kyuba no michi ("The Way of Horse and Bow") being a mounted warrior not a foot soldier. The Katana was a later century dueling sword after the feudal era. There is no record of them using Kanabo or Kanbo-Jutsu either.
