"The Business of Doing Business" Jack Sim is the founder of the Restroom Association of Singapore, the World Toilet Organization, the World Toilet Day initiative and Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP) Hub. In 2001, he established the World Toilet Day and was instrumental in getting the United Nations to create World Toilet Day on November 19th. Jack’s advocacy work has inspired a global movement leading Prime Minister Narendra Modi to build 110 million toilets in India and President Xi Jinping leading the Toilet Revolution in China. In India, WTO started a World Toilet College to educate locals such as sanitation workers on the importance of good hygiene. Jack believes that through an orchestrated global campaign and by using market forces the issue of poverty can be addressed successfully. Using toilet humour, a wink and a smile, Jack is now on a mission to build and improve toilets all over the world, and tackle poverty. World Toilet Organization is a global non-profit committed to improving toilet and sanitation conditions worldwide. Our website: https://www.worldtoilet.org *** Transform the lives of sanitation workers by donating to the World Toilet College (WTC), to help sanitation workers acquire skills that will empower them to work with professionalism, dignity and safety. Breaking the silence on the sanitation crisis is at the heart of World Toilet Organization's (WTO) efforts. WTO established the World Toilet Day and the World Toilet Summit in 2001; this was followed by the WTC in 2005. On 24 July 2013, WTO achieved a key milestone for the global sanitation movement when 122 countries co-sponsored a UN resolution tabled by the Singapore government to designate 19 November, World Toilet Day as an official UN day. WTC has already transformed the lives of 35000 sanitation workers and their households through awareness on the importance of good hygiene and healthier practices. Your donations could change the lives of many more! https://give.asia/campaign/help-sanit... *** Many thanks to Corporate Sponsor, ANA, BLUE WING Program for supporting the work.
