Daks over Duxford 2019 Highlights

Apologies for some of the audio in this video. I think it may have been a combination of the wind and the rain. I will check the microphone and hopefully it won’t happen in future videos. To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Operation Overlord (AKA - D-Day), 23 DC-3s and C-47 were gathered from all over the world at Duxford. At the time of writing this, they will, this afternoon, head off to Normandy where they will drop paratroopers over the land. Unfortunately the weather got the better of us and so the paratroopers, that were meant to drop over Duxford yesterday, had to cancel their jump.
