Black & White with a Pop of Color | 12x12 Scrapbook Layout Process

Hello Bella Blvd friends! 🌈Gloria Parra here, back with a brand-new layout for today’s Design Team challenge! For this week’s assignment, I was challenged to use lots of black and white with just a tiny smidge of color — and I absolutely loved how it turned out! I used the beautiful Documented Collection and one of the Bella Blvd Cut-Outs that says “Love This Life.” It’s such a bold title and was perfect to tell a story about my daughter right now. 🩷 I’ve been wanting to use those colorful speech bubbles, and this was the perfect opportunity to make them pop! I added bits of color through the hearts and speech bubbles while keeping the overall design clean and balanced. One of my favorite details is the hidden journaling tag, where I documented all my daughter’s “currents” — what she’s loving, doing, and dreaming about these days.
