ASTEROID DETECTION with Amateur Equipment 👉 You can do it too!

At Astroacademy, we have taken a very exciting step: we have detected our first asteroids from the Astrogredos observatory. 🚀 Thanks to astrometry and photometry, we have been able to verify that our equipment, in addition to capturing beautiful images of the deep sky, can also generate valuable scientific data. Our goal in this project is clear: to demonstrate that astrophotography can go beyond the artistic and become a tool for contributing to science. We already discussed this with Ramón Naves on the Astroacademy podcast, and now we want to continue sharing our progress, learnings, and results with you.
