Photo and Birding Walk at Ouse Fen | Nature Diary | Wildlife Photography

Images from a recent photo/birding walk at Ouse Fen. This is a great place for stonechats at this time of year and they are usually very obliging perching quite close at the top of the bushes. We also saw the common cranes fly in but unfortunately I was not quick enough and they were some distance away. Marsh harriers are an almost certainty whenever I visit and there were at least three about. The soundtrack has moved from just the coots to now include greylag geese, punctuated now and then by the loud hooting of the cranes from deep in the reeds. I hope you enjoy my videos and images.
