Hiking Humpback Rocks and Dobie Mountain via Albright and AT on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia

Welcome back adventurers! Today's hike is Humpback Rocks! Humpback is usually done as an out and back but today, we're starting on the Jack Albright loop on Dobie Mountain and connecting to the AT and then connecting to the TOP of Humpback Rocks before descending the Rocks back to the parking lot. There is a section of the Jack Albright Loop on Dobie Mountain that contains the remnants of a old plane crash. You can read a little about it here: https://gohikevirginia.com/dobie-moun... Shortly after, you come across a spur trail that lead to Glass Hollow overlook with some really great views and a fantastic spot to take a break, which we did! Continuing from there the trail gets a little rocky before reaching the main event, Humpback Rocks. Quite a popular trail in the area and we lucked out missing the crowds. We had the rocks to ourselves for a good 15 minutes and on the way down, ran into two group of families with 7 or 8 kids each. I hope you enjoyed the video!
