Ugandans are falling victim to daylight robberies orchestrated by Gen. Museveni's NRM leadership, including the Speaker of Parliament, @AnitahAmong, who is channeling taxpayers' money through her driver and office staff. Meanwhile, the Uganda police force @PoliceUg is preoccupied with conducting raids on the residences of @NUP_Ug supporters in search of any red clothing items, unjustly charging innocent civilians for allegedly wearing attire resembling police uniforms. Such archaic mentalities within the leadership hierarchy hinder the country's development. This level of incompetence and mismanagement of public resources is characteristic of third-world nations, contrasting with the progress and empowerment seen in other countries. It is inconceivable to imagine a developed country where the police engage in such primitive behavior. Uganda deserves a higher standard of governance, law enforcement and accountability.On May 23, 2024, security agencies reported conducting an intelligence-led operation at the home of Twinomijuni Anthony, also known as Bobi Young, a resident of Mutungo Zone II, Nakawa Division, Kampala. He was subsequently arrested. During the search, authorities recovered items including ranks resembling those of a UPDF 4-star General, a walkie-talkie, berets similar to those of military police, and two pairs of desert military shoes. Twinomijuni has been charged with illegal possession of government stores and inciting violence and has been handed over to the Joint Anti-terrorism Task Force for further management.
