I have not tested this since mid 2016 so unfortunately I cannot give any further advice other than what's already in the video. Do you need USA TV listings? If so this may well be what you're looking for... A fantastic app for grabbing XMLTV, although this guide is aimed at users of TV Portal (the Kodi add-on) it can be used for a multitude of applications and devices. If you want a great solution for US listings and are willing to pay a small fee then take a look at my guide for mc2xml as it will bring back much more metadata and is only a small cost.
