Jacques Mesrine is one of the greatest figures in French banditry. Thanks to his ability to change his face, “public enemy” played with all the local and national police. Wanted in France, Canada, and even by the FBI in the United States, he managed no less than four escapes, punctuated by epic escapades, until his tragic end under the bullets of the police on November 2, 1979. He has already to his credit numerous robberies, kidnappings and two escapes in Canada in 1969 and 1972 when he returned to France in 1973. He was arrested there on March 8, after multiple robberies in the company of Michel Ardouin, known as "Porte-Avion ", which returns for us to the contract of honor that he had concluded with Mesrine. #truecrime #fela #forensicfiles 00:00 - Introduction: Jacques Mesrine, the man with a thousand faces 01:15 - In 1973, Jacques Messine on the run was arrested in Boulogne Billancourt 05:58 - Interview with Robert Broussard, head of the Brigade for Research and Intervention (BRI) - Part 1 07:15 – In police custody, Mesrine boasts and refuses any report 10:37 – Helped by an accomplice, Mesrine escapes armed from a court 13:53 - Interview with Robert Broussart, head of the Brigade for Research and Intervention (BRI) - Part 2 15:39 – Free, Mesrine resumes the robberies 20:56 - Interview with Robert Broussard, head of the BIS - Part 3 24:10 - Who was Jacques Mesrine really? 27:18 - Mesrine, arrested again, finds himself in the security section of the Santé prison 29:55 - Interview with Charles Bauer - Part 1 33:06 - In 1977, Mesrine appeared before the Paris Assizes 39:24 - In prison, Mesrine meets François Besse, who will help him escape again 44:10 – On the run, Mesrine and his accomplice rob a gun store and resume the robberies 48:20 - Hunted, Mesrine and Besse take a family of farmers hostage, in Normandy 51:23 - Interview with Isabelle Pelletier, journalist - Part 1 57:41 – The police are informed of Mesrine’s return to Paris 59:07 - Interview with Robert Broussard, head of the Brigade for Research and Intervention (BRI) - Part 4 01:01:02 - After a failed hostage-taking, Mesrine narrowly escapes the police 01:05:31 - Mesrine kidnaps an 80-year-old billionaire, Henri Lelièvre, and demands a high ransom 01:09:33 - After an initial failure, Mesrine is given a ransom of 6 million francs 01:12:38 - Interview with Robert Broussard, head of the Brigade for Research and Intervention (BRI) - Part 5 01:14:36 - The police begin to cooperate to put an end to Mesrine's run 01:17:00 - Mesrine, wanting revenge on a journalist, Jacques Tillier, ended up kidnapping him 01:22:00 - An informant reveals that Mesrine's accomplice is called Charlie Bauer, the police find his hideout 01:29:08 - Interview with Robert Broussard, head of the Brigade for Research and Intervention (BRI) - Part 6 01:30:37 - After a long shadowing, the police opened fire on Mesrine, who did not survive the attack 01:34:52 - Interview with Robert Broussard, head of the Brigade for Research and Intervention (BRI) - Part 7 01:37:16 - Interview with Charles Bauer - Part 2 01:39:40 – After Mesrine’s disappearance, a search takes place at his home 01:41:06 - Interview with Robert Broussard, head of the Brigade for Research and Intervention (BRI) - Part 8 01:42:35 - Conclusion: Jacques Mesrine, the man with a thousand faces
