Today we assemble the cast iron stove using rivets and we cook some sunny eggs to show you how the cast iron stove is actually used! So basically, a smithing and cooking lesson in one? Let's go! ----- Welcome to this new tutorial series for the free indie game Two Hours One Life! Two Hours One Life is - in essence - a multiplayer game, but a lot of people prefer to play solo to explore the tech tree on their own and master the game that way. This video series is meant to help you get through the basics of the game so that you too can play solo and thrive! There are 1000s of recipes to learn, and while I won't teach each and every recipe in this series, I'll make sure you will understand the basics. In those days he would often alternate playing OHOL with 2HOL, and I started playing it as well, slowly abandoning OHOL (Sorry OHOL) in favor of 2HOL. Now, 4 years later and nearly 4000 hours of gameplay later (fully aware that's a lot...), I've become a youtuber myself so that people who are new to Two Hours One Life can benefit from my videos the way I benefited from Twisted's when I was new to One Hour One Life. That's understandable. OHOL is created by Jason Rohrer, who made it opensource. Basically this means that anyone can take the code and improve upon it or do whatever they like with it. (Well, minus selling it, I suppose, though even that is legally probably not illegal, just frowned upon!) (Yes, judging you, You are Hope!) There are also a few sister games in Asia, including Moelife, with a ton of recipes neither OHOL or 2HOL have. 2HOL is able to remain free-to-play thanks to donations of the fans to the game servers. If you want to know more about that, ask about it on the 2HOL discord! 2HOL came to be in about 2019 and after many years of development, is now a game that at the core started as OHOL, but has had many improvements and additions. There are more biomes, more clothes, more food items, more smithing... 2HOL has honey, flowers, beer and much more that's absent in OHOL. There is also the possibility to play solo and return to your town whenever you please, as I explain in this tutorial series, and for those playing multiplayer: the game is moderated, making it a chiller experience than One Hour One Life. To me, 2HOL feels like a cozy sim game while OHOL feels more chaotic and fast-paced. Most importantly: there's a game for everyone now, so no matter your playstyle or preferences, you'll find a fun game in either OHOL or 2HOL (or both). ---- If you wish to support me financially, that would be amazing!
