Boulogne-Billancourt, located West of Paris: Installation of the new footbridge over the Seine River

Boulogne-Billancourt: the new footbridge has been placed over the Seine river between the island "Île Seguin" and the future Pont de Sèvres station of the Grand Paris Express line 15. The third and final section of the new northern footbridge on the island Seguin was erected on Sunday, August 15, 2021. Designed by the architect Jean-Marie Duthilleul (also architect of the future Pont de Sèvres station line 15), the footbridge was prefabricated in the factory by the Belgian builder Victor Buyck Steel Construction. This impressive 268-meter-long structure now links the future Pont de Sèvres station, located on Quai Georges Gorse, to the Seine Musicale on the island Seguin. 100% pedestrian, it will open to pedestrians in February 2022.
