Headed to the Lake District with the Mrs for this one. We had limited time so planned a 4hr hike starting out in Dodd Wood to tackle the Wainwrights below Skiddaw. This is a great circular hike with great views and involves a steep climb then following the ridge to tick off Ullock Pike, Long Side and Carl Side. From there, you can head up to Skiddaw but as our time was limited we headed across to Dodd. Although it looks sunny at times, trust m it was freezing and very windy too! Had a great day and was good to get out with the Mrs as it seems like ages since we've been out hiking together. Summits: ⛰️ Ullock Pike (690 m) ⛰️ Long Side (734 m) ⛰️ Carl Side (747 m) ⛰️ Dodd (Skiddaw) (502 m) This trip had everything – brutal winds, epic ridge walks, insane views, and proper adventure vibes!
