To turn right at an unsigned crossroad, give way to all oncoming vehicles too. At a T-intersection, give way to all vehicles on the continuing road. At a STOP sign or GIVE WAY sign, give way to all other vehicles. If there is a mix of STOP and/or GIVE WAY signs at the intersection, they effectively cancel each other out and normal give way rules above apply. To do a U-turn, give way to all other vehicles and pedestrians before turning. Simple misunderstandings of road rules can cause a lot of grief - from near misses and minor crashes to serious injury or worse.
