Join us as we embark on an unforgettable 2-day journey through the charming city of Bergen, Norway! Our adventure begins at Bryggen*, the historic harbor village with its colorful wooden houses, before heading to the vibrant *Bergen Fish Market and strolling through the city streets. The day starts with a drizzle, but by the afternoon the sun comes out just in time for us to ride the Fløibanen Funicular up to the famous *Fløyen Viewpoint*. From here, we take in a breathtaking bird's-eye view of Bergen. Whether you're visiting for sunrise, sunset, or just to soak in the panorama, this spot is a must-see! We even took a small hike to the serene *Skomakerdiket Lake*. While kayaking here is an option, we arrived too late to try it. After a busy day, we wrapped up with dinner at a cozy pizza spot recommended by a local friend, before heading back to our beautiful Airbnb. The place had stunning views and offered the perfect end to our day, especially as we got to witness the magical Midsummer bonfire from the comfort of our stay. Day 2 took us to the picturesque village of Stein home to a unique waterfall Steinsdalsfossen where you can walk behind the cascade – an amazing and rare experience! We then ventured up *Mount Ulriken*, Bergen’s highest peak, via cable car. The view from the top was absolutely breathtaking and well worth the trip. For those who love adventure, hiking is another option here. We ended our Bergen adventure with a visit to the iconic *Trekroneren*, where we indulged in their famous reindeer hot dogs – a perfect finale to our 2-day exploration!
